Hey..hey..hey.... I am back wif more irelevant and relevant untold stories.. Firstly...some of the people know tat I have been bz working n completing my FYP. Well its been quite tiring for me. Luckily my eyebag didn`t seem too obvious. Well some may knw where I work, some don`t. So tis somebody keep pestering me to update my blog abt my work...well I won`t let him/her down.
My first impression was a breeze, but still nervous cause u knw wen 1 on 1 wif ur employer. Wen I first wen dere, the staff were friendly. They even gave me a free drink even still I don`t knw whether I got the job or nt. Start wif my training class at commonwealth, Haw Par Tech building. It was like a food paradise over there. When u were in the class, U can eat, drink as much as u want. Well they will stack up stocks. 3 days of training at Har Tech Building den start training at my store...(Well won`t tell where my place is...muahaha.). Its kind of great working at my store, well there are many thing at there.
The Christmas Give away for charity event(4th December 2008)
The exciting day but yet tiring. Well suppose to reach at my work place by 3, but it rain heavily so reach ard 3 plus going 4. Wen I reach dere, dere were no crowd. So change n get ready my clothes and aprons. Den had a store meeting right b4 the event start. I was assign at the condiment bar where the straws, napkins, sugar n so on. I have to great the customer wen the customer leaving the place. Well, I was nervous at first cause it my first tyme working dere n I don`t knw the condition over dere. I could see all the ex - partner of Starbuck came back to help the store. They were like shouting, taking photo. The atmosphere was so havoc n intense( in a happy way) tat I was like wow. It shows how close the partners were. So we all started count down. The crowd was so massive tat I felt tat we re going to pump alot of energy. The queue was long. One of my partner who is the crowd controller call in 5 people at a tyme to place their order for a free drinks. The people from Salvation Army move around to get as many donation as they can get. The one who was station with me have to ring the bell. At first she use her left hand, den change to right hand n at last both hand..hehe After few min, I have to follow some of my partners to attract more customer. I have to hold the signboard while my others partners gave away flyers abt tis event. After distributing the flyer, we wen up to our store n wen to our assign place. The crowd got longer wen we reach to our store. Few min later, I have to down again, holding the board n shout" Starbucks tall size drink for free at 2nd level", " Thank You" Well, while shouting tat, I saw tis gangster frm my school. So I was like approaching to him n trying to give him the flyer. He juz walk like tat. I was so frustrated. He thing he is so big. Well I guess if I fought him..I can juz straighten my hand n put it at his forehead n let him attack without him hitting me. O_ /1 O 1 -1-
Something like wat I the figure above. Well atleast there are some gangster took my flyers n even say thank you. That I respect the most. Well the one who walk away is a year 1 in my ITE Collage. So nw who cares. It is a past alreadi. I make new friends frm the guys,girls n even auntie at the computer shops n spectacle shop. The auntie took my specs n clean it for me. I was like wow...so great..hehe. We end the event at 7. After tat, we clean the store n close it arnd 8 plus. We have to wait cause my fav store manager, Mas. She order over 10 box of Canadian Pizza. We ate n chill inside the store. I was kind of bored cause I am still a newbie, so I took the opprtunity to go to the games shop to play Guitar Hero. Well I mostly play my fav song, The Kill frm 30 Seconds frm Mars. They came to me n disturb...haha. Well I manage to play well. After everything done. Mas,Kak Yatie, Fadly n me lepak at one spot. At there, we were talking abt who is nt straight, den abt Aisyah( one of the so call hot partner, well for me is not hot ) We chat n joke arnd. Took the last train hm via woodland.
Great store meeting( 06 December 2008 )
Well I have to go 4 my training at store. After my training, we have our store meeting at OK Starbuck near one Fullerton, under the bridge. We had our meeting, den we wen to Chunkfeast from Ben and Jerry at Fort Canning Park. Well got no photo. Well I like the band playing. There is one band, I forget the name of the band, one of the guitarist is hot.(wat I mean the guitarist is a girl.) The band consist of 5 people. 4 guys n a girl. They sound good. I prefer the Chunkfeast rather den the band playing at Esplanade. The sound at Esplanade sound out of tune n the speakers sound, sound so weird. The bass is not up to the standard. Well at Chunkfeast, we met Aisyah n her friends. After tat we ate at Youth Park. After eating we went home. Apit n Qane met someone while me n Fadly wen hm by bus. While we were on the way home. My mom called me asking me where I am. After all tat, she told me tat my uncle wanted to play bowling n bring my whole family to play at Chevrons. I was like...oh sh*t, how am I going to follow dem. i was lucky tat the bus driver wa speeding very fast. Reach CCK less den 20 min. Meet my Family at interchange n wen to Chevrons. My uncle drove the lorry. The wind at night felt cold. Lucky I brought my jacket. Reach Chevrons at 12 plus. We play bowling until 2.40. Reach hm arnd 3.30.. Well I sleep late reaching 4.
